Yilmaz UK Ltd were asked to offer 8 off helical bevel geared motors for a conveyor application for a local quarry. The customer advised us of the duty, roller diameter, conveyor length, friction, load and velocity required. Yilmaz UK calculated the power, torque, speed and safety factor required for the application and made a suitable geared motor selection.
One potential sticking point was the customer requested a non-standard hollow bore size of 55mm diameter. Yilmaz UK are able to offer optional or special hollow bore output sizes on all of there K-Series helical bevel gearboxes and successfully supplied 8 off KV473.00 helical bevel geared motor units with optional hollow bore size to match the customers requirements. Delivered to site in 3 working days.
